Shipping

Available to Ship Notification

Once a buyer’s payment has been successfully processed, the buyer will receive an email with the seller’s contact information and equipment address. Unless specified in the offer, the buyer is responsible for paying for and arranging the shipping and insurance.

Timing

All items purchased must be SCHEDULED for pick up within five (5) business days from receipt of payment, unless given specific written permission by the seller and UniteCraft to extend that time. If the buyer has not made arrangements to pick up the item in that time frame, the buyer will be subject to additional storage charges that must be paid before the buyer picks up the purchased items.

Inspection and Shipping

If the offer requires the buyer to pick up the equipment (most common), UniteCraft customer support will contact the buyer and the seller to arrange an inspection date and pickup.

UniteCraft will email the buyer an Inspection & Release Form. The buyer sends back the form confirming inspection and release from the seller.

If the seller is shipping your purchase, the shipping delivery receipt and Release Form sent to the buyer via email will finalize the sale.

Shipping - Frequently Asked Questions

How much time do I have to pick up my equipment from the seller's location?

UniteCraft also reserves the right to cancel the sale if the item has not been scheduled for pick up within fifteen (15) business days from the receipt of payment. Furthermore, unless previous written arrangements have been agreed upon with the Seller, UniteCraft reserves the right to cancel the sale if an item has not been physically removed from the Seller's property within thirty (30) days or as posted in the Listing from the receipt of payment. In such case, UniteCraft will consider the equipment to have been abandoned as outlined in the Abandonment Policy (please refer to Terms and Conditions of Sales: Abandonment Policy for additional information).

Do I need transit insurance?

Once you inspect and take possession of the item, typically at the seller’s location, transportation is the buyer’s responsibility. Cargo Insurance covers the property being transported by the trucker. You want to make sure the equipment you are moving is 100% insured. Some transport companies have insurance under a specific value. Ask the equipment hauler for their insurance “package”. This is an industry wide term. Ask in writing what needs to be done to have your equipment covered.

Who arranges the shipping of my equipment?

UniteCraft can help with the logistics and shipping estimates. UniteCraft logistics will assist in locating a transport company to handle the shipping of the equipment.

Why are weight and dimensions accuracy so important?

Unless otherwise defined in the Offer Conditions, Buyers pay for shipping based on the weight and dimensions provided in the listing specifications. Incorrect weight or dimensions may result in a surcharge for the seller to compensate for any additional unanticipated shipping costs.

Who coordinates and pays for shipping and logistics?

Unless specified in the offer, the buyer is responsible for arranging and the cost of shipping and insurance. UniteCraft can help with the logistics and shipping. UniteCraft logistics will assist in locating a transport company to handle the shipping of the equipment.

Will the seller help load equipment into a container?

No, unless stated in the seller’s buyer’s purchase offer. The seller is not required to load any piece of equipment or attachment into a container. The buyer must make arrangements for loading into containers with the buyer's transportation company.

Will the seller dismantle equipment for shipment?

No, unless stated in the seller’s buyer’s purchase offer. The seller is not required to dismantle any part of equipment for transportation. However, you can contact UniteCraft Shipping and Logistic for estimate on shipping and dismantling services. UniteCraft will take no part in arranging dismantling unless the buyers has contracted UniteCraft logistic services to provide this service for payment. Contact information for the seller will be provided once UniteCraft has received full payment for the item(s) purchased.

How will I know when I can pick up my equipment?

Once the buyer has paid for the order, the seller will be notified that the equipment can be released. UniteCraft logistics will confirm payment receipt and update the shipping status. You can view the shipping status in the My UniteCraft section My UniteCraft > Buyer. An email will also be sent to both the Seller and the Buyer.

Where is the equipment located?

Unless otherwise stated, the equipment is located in the seller's location or seller's storage facility.
