Brad Lincoln is the co-founder of two Colorado-based craft breweries, Funkwerks and Jessup Farm Barrel House. He is also a certified CPA who graduated from Arizona State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After working for many years in public accounting and then real estate, Brad pursued a passion for craft beer by attending Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago, where he studied brewing science. Here, he met two of his future business partners. In 2009, he moved to Fort Collins, Colorado and started Funkwerks. The taproom opened its doors in 2010, the brewery won its first award in 2011 for its Saison, and Funkwerks was recognized as Small Brewing Company of the Year at GABF in 2012. In 2015, Brad opened his second brewery, Jessup Farm Barrel House, in a restored barn from the 1800s. The brewery has three gold medals wins from GABF and World Beer Cup. Brad oversees all day to day operations at both breweries, including production, finance, employee management, marketing and distribution.
