Expected performance 

At a flow rate of 30 hl/h the BREW 80 can handle a yeast concentration of 20 million cells per ml such that oxygen pick-up is less than < 20 ppb. 

The remaining yeast concentration in the beer, is expected to be < 0.5 million cells per ml. 

The discharged yeast is expected to have a dryness of approximately 20% DS. 

The exact figures that can be reached depend on the process itself and the com-patibility of the yeast. The flow range is between 10 – 50 hl/h depending on the inlet solids load.

The centrifuge is skid mounted on a mobile base frame on wheels. (72 L x 61 H x 39 W -inch) 

Starter and Control panel 

The Main power disconnect for the system and VFD type starter for the centri-fuge motor. The main power supply is 3x 460 x 60Hz. (40 Amp US service) 

The control cabinet is made in stainless steel and is manufactured according to IEC 204-1. The unit controls the complete separation system according to the flow chart. It is based on an EPC system and frequency converter. The display text is English.
