We have outgrown our CASK ACS Canning line and will be installing a higher speed line during the first week of January.
This CASK ACS is ready to rock – we have packaged more than 2 million cans of beer each of the last 2 years on this line. It’s a workhouse and with solid care will work like a beast. It runs consistently at 35 cans per minute and we run the line 8-10 hours at a time to output 16-18,000 beers per session.
This is NOT state of the art but if you are looking to package your beer and are doing less than 7,000 bbl of packaged beer annually than this line will do the job with a crew of 2 people. You need a line guy who watches lids, mans the controls, works with the depal and the filler and then we have utilized a 2nd person to snap PakTeks and build pallets. When we first started we used 3 people but quickly found that 2 solid workers can handle it with an honest days work. You could buy a PakTek machine and install it – but – my personal feeling was at 35 cpm a good worker can do the job and you need that person anyhow to build out your pallets.
We have aptly named the line “KAREN”. She’s can be feisty but if you treat her well – she will reward you.
The Depal is highly used but it works and is included in the price. A new depal will run you $30,000 on it’s own generally.
I am asking for $85,000 in total – I will listen to offers. I would like to move the line to it’s new home during January if possible.
